Palombara sabina lies 30 km north-east of rome at the foothills of monte gennaro.The area is famous for its production of olive oil, cherries, peaches and plums.There is a small station 4 km from the house , where trains run every 15 minutes to rome.The journey takes half an hour.Apart from rome there are lots of places worth visitng - tivoli , farfa , palombara and moricone.
